E-mail and mailing lists MailChimp
We use the Office365 services for our regular business email traffic. Office365 has appropriate technical and logistical measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data. Office365 has no access to our mailbox and all email traffic is treated confidentially.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We only use your data for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always related to the order you have given us. We do not use your details for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information – other than at your request – to contact you at a later date, we will ask you for permission. Your details will not be shared with third parties other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by an agreement between them and us or by an oath or legal obligation.
Automatic data collection
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal.
Cooperation in tax enquiry and criminal investigations
In occurring cases, Ge-UZ B.V. acting as Intergeuz can be obliged by law to share your data for tax enquiry or criminal investigation by the authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will resist within the possibilities of the law.
We will retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you inform us that you no longer wish to make use of our services. If you inform us that you no longer wish to make use of our services, we will also consider this to be a request to forget. Based on the relevant administrative obligations, we need to save invoices with your (personal) data, so we will save this data for as long as the appropriate period lasts. Employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your instructions.
Under the relevant Dutch and European law, you as the party concerned have certain rights with regard to the personal data that is processed by us or on our behalf. We will explain below what these rights are and how you can claim them. In order to prevent misuse, we will only send copies of your data to your registered email address. In the event that you wish to receive the data by another email address or, for example, by letter, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of completed requests; in the case of a forget request, we keep an anonymous record. You will receive all copies and data in the format that we use in our systems. You have at all times the right to file a complaint with the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data if you suspect that we are misusing your personal data.
Right of access
You always have the right to access the data we process, or have processed, which relate to or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data at the registered email address, together with an overview of the data processors that have access to this data, including the category under which we have stored it.
Right to rectification
You always have the right to modify the data that we process, or have processed, and which relate to you or can be traced back to you. You can request this from our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the email address we have registered that the data has been updated.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data that we process, or have processed, which relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can request this from our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the email address we have registered that the data will no longer be processed until you withdraw your restriction.
Right to transfer
You always have the right to have the data we process, which relates to you or can be traced back to you, handled by another party. You can request this from our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or records of all the information about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the registered email address. It is likely that in such a case, we will no longer be able to provide services, as the secure interconnection of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Ge-UZ B.V., in this case acting as Intergeuz. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing, pending the outcome of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will make copies and/or records of the data that we process (or have processed) available to you and we will permanently stop processing the data. You also have the right not to be subject to automatic individual decision making or profiling. We do not process your data to the extent that this right applies. Cookies of the American company Google are placed on our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports about the use of the website by visitors. This processor may be obliged under applicable laws and regulations to provide access to these data. We have not authorised Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.
